Bubbles the Seal has a Fish Allergy.
Bubbles lives in the warm waters of Bendy River where her parents spend their day catching fish, but Bubbles has to be very careful when she wants to help, because she has a fish allergy, Bubbles must not touch the fish without wearing protection on her flippers.
At mealtimes, Bubbles knows that before she can eat anything, her mum and dad must check her food does not contain fish. When she's invited to birthday parties, she knows that she might get sick if she eats any of her friend's food without asking her mum or dad first.
Bubbles also has to be careful when she plays with her friend's pets, as they may be fed petfood that could have fish in it. If they lick her face, she could fall sick and have to go to the hospital. Because Bubbles is careful and listens to her mum and dad, she stays safe and always enjoys playing with her friends.

Coco the Orangutan has a Nut Allergy
Coco the OrangUtan lives in the jungle near to his friend Lappy. He often joins his friends at their jungle camp for picnics, but has to be really careful because he is allergic to peanuts and other nuts. Some of the food at the picnic parties looks and smells really good but Coco knows he must listen to his parents advice because he knows that if he ate the wrong food it would make him very sick.
When he is at home his mum and dad must check what he eats all the time, making sure that there are no nuts included before they give him cakes, biscuits or chocolate to eat.
Even at school he knows he must not eat anything unless he asks his teacher first. This makes Coco feel very special and safe when his mum and dad are not around.

Lappy the Jungle cat has a Milk Allergy
Lappy is a friendly jungle cat who has to be very careful because he has an allergy to milk. Every summer, when the sun is really hot, Lappy's mum gives him a dairy free icecream or a soft drink to keep him cool.
Lappy knows that his mum and dad must check all his food before he can eat anything, which could be a problem when he's invited to birthday parties, but he knows that he might get sick if he eats any of his friend's food without asking his mum or dad first. Even at school his teacher is aware of Lappy's allergy to milk, so she gives him a nice fruit drink instead of milk at break time. This makes Lappy feel very special and safe when his mum and dad are not around.

Scrambles the Raccoon has an Egg Allergy.
Scrambles lives with his mum and dad, in the jungle, near to Bendy River. At meal times, Scrambles' dad loves to eat eggs, but because Scrambles has an allergy to them, he is not allowed to eat or touch them. But his mum always makes a special meal for him to enjoy. When Scrambles is invited to a party or a jungle picnic with his friends, he must take a special bag of 'goodies' with him, full of his favourite treats, so that he can enjoy the party as much as his friends without being sick. Even at school Scrambles knows he must not eat anything unless he asks his teacher first, but his mum always fills his lunchbox with delicious things to eat. This makes Scrambles feel very special and safe when his mum and dad are not around.

Twang the Panda has a Latex Allergy
Twang plays in the jungle gum trees with her friends. However she has to be very careful because she has a latex allergy. When she¹s invited to birthday parties and her mum and dad are not around, Twang has to take extra care because she mustn't touch or hold the colourful balloons that float above her.
Twang also knows that some of the delicious party food must also be avoided, even when it looks so tempting. Bananas, Kiwi fruit, Avocado and Chestnuts which are all favourites at jungle parties would make Twang very sick if she ate or touched them, so staying away from them and the balloons means that she can play with her friends without having to go to the hospital.
Twang's mum and dad know they must also tell the doctor and dentist not to use their gloves or other latex equipment, when it's time for a check-up, since these would also harm her.

Wheezy the Kangaroo has Asthma.
Wheezy is a very bouncy and energetic Kangaroo who loves jumping everywhere. His mum and dad are always telling him to slow down at home, not just because he is a little clumsy and knocks things over with his tail, but because he suffers from asthma. Even playing with his jungle friends at parties and picnics, he must take care not to become too excited because when Wheezy gets very short of breath his chest begins to hurt.
Although Wheezy's asthma is not an allergy, he is allergic to milk and eggs, which will trigger his asthma. Although Wheezy finds it difficult to slow down, he does try to listen to his mum and dad, and to the teachers at school, especially at sports day.
